The year 2011 carries new challenges for most technicians; in passenger cars field
the following new models and systems will be introduced:
- The New CLS C218
- The New SLK R172
- New Gasoline engines: new 6 cylinder M276, new 8 cylinder M278, new AMG engine M157
- New Telematics generation 4.5
In addition to these new topics, the Global training center will launch a new training
concept for already known systems such as:
- M271 Evo
- Drive Authorization system
- Air-Conditioning systems
- Hybrid Drive system
Concerning commercial vehicles, a new truck will be introduced in addition to the
training courses presented during 2010.
Furthermore, in order to enhance the basic and advanced knowledge of different technicians
specially the electricians and team leaders, new courses will be introduced for
the first time. The practical content of these courses will be more than 80%, using
specialized labs that cover the following topics:
- Basics of electrics and electronics
- Sensors in automotive technology
- Data transfer in CAN, LIN and optical buses
- PWM signals
- Hybrid drives
- Three phase generator
- Lighting and comfort systems
As usual, the training schedule will be up-dated continuously.
Kindly inform the TGF training center about your additional or specific training
requirements in order to include them in the coming months of 2011.
